BREAKING NEWS: ZANU NDONGA which was formed and led by the late Ndabaningi Sithole (31 July 1920 – 12 December 2000) has rejoined Zanu pf, boosting Mnangagwa’s fight to win 2018 harmonised elections
Ndabaningi Sithole is the chief architect of Zimbabwe African National Union (ZANU) party in August 1963 together with Herbert Chitepo, Robert Mugabe and Edgar Tekere at Enos Nkala’s Highfields House.
Ndabaningi Sithole was elected president of Zanu and he appointed Robert Mugabe to be his secretary general of Zanu.
Zanu was banned in 1964 and Sithole was jailed for 10 years along with Mugabe, Tekere, Nyagumbo and Takawira for their political activities.
Before that, most members of this group were all Zapu members a party created by Joshua Nkomo on in 1961 to remove white oppression by the racist whie Rhodesia regime. Robert Mugabe was the publicity secretary for Zapu.
Mnangawa who has been Mugabe’s right hand man for 55 years since the start of Zanu welcomed the return of Zanu Ndonga which is now officially dissolved after merging with Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats into a new Zanu led by Mnagagwa. 2018 elections are set to be exciting as Zanu pf are more organised and united than squabbling opposition who are now associated with violence and burning leaders in houses, disregard for their party constitution and total disregard for women, all that we have suffered through for 37 years under Mugabe with mnangagwa who was at his side for 55 years.
